The Model
RPF News is funded through prediction market trading. Our journalism is the product of deep, original research — from political races and policy outcomes to science, business and culture. When that research reveals information the market hasn’t priced in, we trade on it and publish the reporting for free.
Great journalism deserves a better business model. We don’t need to clickbait, pander, or publish filler. We can take the time to focus on research, deep subject matter expertise, in-depth interviews and rigor.
How It Works
- Deep research. We investigate politics, business, science and culture by going deeper than a deadline-driven newsroom can.
- Trade. When our reporting uncovers reality not yet reflected in prediction markets, we take positions.
- Publish for free. We publish our reporting with no paywall or advertising.

Every article includes a disclosure of our related market positions. We hold positions because we believe our research is correct. We publish our research because the public deserves to see it. We only profit when we are right.
